| Who can join Intech Credit Union? |
| Intech Credit Union’s members traditionally work in the information and communications and technology (ICT) industries, the telecommunications industries and their families. To join, you pay $10 and in return receive a single share, which means you now own a part of the Credit Union. You can vote like any other member and have the right to contest for a Director's position if nominated by your colleagues. Once a member, you remain a member for life, even if you change careers. If you are unsure of your membership eligibility please contact us to discuss it with one of our staff. |
| How do I become a member? |
| Contact us to open your membership. You become a member by being issued with one share ($10) which entitles you to one vote as a member of the Credit Union. This amount is refundable should you ever decide to close your membership. |
| What is the BSB Number? |
| Within Australia: BSB: 802-351 Quote this BSB number and your individual membership number to manage your electronic debits and credits within Australia. Outside Australia: Quote the following details to overseas financial institutions: BSB: //AU802351 Your member number: eg. 12345000 Your name: eg. John Smith Swift or BIC code: CUSCAU2S The terminology may appear confusing, however, if you advise the overseas financial institution that you would like to send funds via RTGS (“Real Time Gross Settlement”) and then quote the details above, you should avoid any complications and your money will be available in your account as soon as the funds are received in Australia. |
| What do I do if my VISA Card is lost, stolen or damaged? |
| 1. In the event of loss or theft, report your card to the VISA hotline immediately on 1800 224 004. 2. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, complete the Replacement VISA application form 3. Print and sign the form 4. Send the form to us via standard mail or fax How do I change my PIN? PIN change terminals are available at our branches at St Leonards, Cumberland Forest and Southbank. |
| Is the credit union as safe as a bank? |
| Intech Credit Union is supervised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) – the same Federal government authority that regulates the banks. APRA requires all financial institutions to maintain minimum standards to ensure the security of member's funds. |
| What ATM's can I access? |
| Any ATM in Australia. |
| Loans Can I apply for a loan online? |

| Are there any early loan repayment fees? |
| With the exception of Fixed Rate Loans, No. You can pay as much as you like above the minimum loan repayment amount and for mortgage loans, you can redraw the amount you are in advance at anytime. Please note that on certain rate promotions, early repayment penalities may apply. |
| Do I need to be a member to apply for a loan? |
| No, however if the loan is approved, you will have to become a member prior to funding. |
| BPAY What is BPAY? |
| BPAY is an Electronic Bill Payment System which enables to pay all your bills which have a biller code via the Telephone Teller or Internet Banking. |
| How do I Register for BPAY? |
| Internet BPAY Simply request to be registered for Internet Banking by completing the registration form and you will automatically have access to Internet BPAY. Telephone BPAY Simply request to be registered by completing the registration form. |
| Does Intech charge any fees associated with BPAY? |
