Our Vision
We treat every Member of our Credit Union with respect and as an individual.
We strive to understand their needs and provide them with the products and services to help them achieve their financial goals.

Our History
Serving our members for almost four decades.
  • 1962 – OTC Credit Union founded to service employees of the Overseas Telecommunications Commission
  • 1971 – IBM Employees Credit Union founded to provide savings accounts and personal loans to IBM staff in Australia.
  • 1994 – IBM Employees Credit Union changes it's name to Intech Credit Union.
  • 1995 – OTC Credit Union rebranded Telstra Credit Union, reflecting changes in the structure of Telstra Corporation.
  • 2005 – Intech Credit Union merges with Telstra Credit Union but both brands are maintained.
  • 2009 – Intech Credit Union, incorporating Telstra Credit Union, has approximately 9500 members, drawn from all states of Australia and overseas, with assets in excess of $160,000,000 and a staff of 32.

Our Members
Our Members are the reason Intech exists and are the most important part of our credit union. Members are all equal owners in the Credit Union and its role is to service Members' financial needs.
Reflecting our history, the majority of Intech's Members are employed by two companies, IBM Australia and Telstra Corporation. The credit union also services members from throughout the IT and telecommunications industries and welcomes the business of family and relatives of current Members.
