A walk down memory lane with OTC CU - Intech Credit Union

Did you know in 1962 Intech was founded as OTC Employees Credit Union (OTC CU) over 50 years ago to provide better banking to employees of the Overseas Telecommunication Commision (OTC) - the same year Marilyn Monroe sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy? And, in 1995 OTC CU rebranded to Telstra Credit Union reflecting structural changes within Telstra Corporation?

We would love to see any memorabilia from the old days when OTC CU was first set up. Searching through our archives we found a few OTC articles published in the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) on Friday 15 January 1965.

The first article informs people to learn how the OTC links Australia to the rest of the world.

The second OTC article announces the newest link in the Commonwealth communications network.

Another interesting read from the OTC is where do you set the limits in international communications.

If you have any memorabilia or photos please let Janine Walker know. We would love to share our history from OTC CU.
